Refund Policy
At Testy Point, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to deliver all orders promptly and maintain clear, fair refund terms. This Refund Policy applies to all categories of products purchased via our app or website.
Refund Eligibility by Category
Food Orders
- Cancel within 0–1 minute: 100% Refund.
- Cancel within 1–15 minutes: 40% Refund.
- Cancel after 15 minutes or once preparation begins: No Refund.
Grocery Orders
- Perishable Items (milk, fruits, vegetables, frozen):
Cancel within 0–1 minute: 100% Refund.
- After 1 minute: No Refund.
- Non-Perishable Items (packaged food, household):
Cancel within 30 minutes: 80% Refund.
- After 30 minutes: No Refund.
Clothing Orders
- Cancel within 24 hours: 100% Refund.
- Cancel between 24 hours–7 days: 89% Refund.
- After 7 days: No Refund.
- Note: Worn, washed, or used items are not eligible for refund.
Electronics Orders
- Cancel within 24 hours and before shipment: 100% Refund.
- Cancel after 24 hours but before delivery: Refund may be approved at Testy Point’s discretion with a minimum 7% deduction (processing fee).
- After delivery: Refunds will generally not be issued.
- Only replacement requests may be considered.
- Post-Delivery Complaints: If you report a problem within 72 hours of delivery, an approved replacement may be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Exceptional Refunds: Refunds after delivery may be allowed only in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Testy Point. In such cases, 7%–25% deductions may apply.
- Warranty Claims: For manufacturing defects or warranty services, you must follow the manufacturer’s warranty process. Testy Point can help you contact the manufacturer but is not responsible for warranty fulfilment.
No Refund Will Be Issued If:
- Incorrect/incomplete delivery address is provided.
- The customer is unreachable or unresponsive at delivery time.
- Delivery fails due to restricted access (e.g., more than 4 floors without lift).
- The customer refuses delivery without a valid reason.
- Local disruption (lockdown, protest, extreme weather) delays delivery.
- The complaint is raised after the valid complaint window expires.
- The product is used, altered, damaged, or not in original condition and packaging.
Delivery Attempt Policy & Refund Impact:
- Instant orders (food, grocery, clothing): Rider waits up to 5–7 minutes (max 30 minutes in exceptional cases). No refund if unresponsive.
- Instant grocery: Only one delivery attempt. No refund if failed.
- Scheduled deliveries (electronics, clothing): Up to 2–3 delivery attempts. If delivery fails, redelivery/refund is at Testy Point’s discretion.
Post-Delivery Refund Conditions:
- Products must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
- Valid complaints must be raised within
- Food/Grocery: 30 minutes.
- Other categories: 72 hours.
- Late complaints will not be entertained.
Refund Processing & Deductions:
- Refund approval is solely at the discretion of Testy Point.
- Processing fee of 7%–27% may be deducted even for cancellations within free cancellation window.
- Higher deductions may apply in dispute or exceptional cases.
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Refund Options for COD Orders:
- Default refund to Testy Point Wallet if no preference is given.
- Refund to bank account or UPI available upon request.

Important Disclaimer:
Refunds, replacements, and cancellations are subject to evaluation on a case-by-case basis. Testy Point reserves the exclusive right to determine whether a refund, replacement, or cancellation request will be accepted or denied, particularly in exceptional, disputed, or unforeseen situations. Customers do not have an automatic entitlement in such cases, and all decisions made by Testy Point shall be final and binding.
Evidence & Verification Requirement
This policy applies to *all categories* including Food, Grocery (perishable and non-perishable), Clothing, Electronics, and Household Essentials.
In the event of any complaint related to delivery, refund, product defect, damage, missing item, wrong product, or quality issues, the customer *must be prepared to submit valid proof* to support their claim.
Testy Point reserves the right to request:
- Clear photos of the delivered product, packaging, or item condition
- Unedited video footage showing the issue or unpacking
- Screenshots of delivery updates (if applicable)
- Written explanations or additional supporting details
This evidence is required to *verify the authenticity of the claim* and ensure fair resolution.
If the customer fails or refuses to provide the requested evidence within the timeline set by Testy Point, the refund request may be considered invalid and *no refund or replacement shall be issued*.
Delivery Access Conditions and Additional Refund-Related Fees
This policy applies to all categories and refund claims. If the delivery location is in a building, complex, or society with high security protocols, restricted entry, or other significant challenges that prevent smooth delivery, additional service charges may be imposed as part of refund considerations. Examples include premises requiring special permissions from security personnel or facility management, or buildings without lifts where the rider must carry items above the 4th floor. In such situations, an extra fee may be assessed ranging from ₹10 to ₹100 per order, or in exceptional circumstances, ₹10 to ₹500 per order. Alternatively, the charge may be calculated up to 35%–40% of the order value depending on the effort required. Customers are responsible for informing Testy Point in advance about any such delivery restrictions that could impact refund eligibility or deduction calculations. If this information is not disclosed when placing the order, any applicable charges will be determined after delivery attempts and communicated to the customer. Failure to accept or pay such charges may result in partial or complete deduction from any approved refund. Testy Point reserves the exclusive right to make the final decision regarding such charges and deductions.
